The Oru Women Association is the Women’s wing of Oru Progressive Association (O.P.A.). The group is made up of all women married to men from the four local government areas covered by O.P.A. footprints. Women who are born in any of the four local government areas but married to men from outside O.P.A. footprints can also be members.
We, the members of ORU Women Association, moved by passion and a longing to come together, formed an organized community in Houston, Texas. The organization shall be known as ORU Women Association, Houston, Texas, USA.
The general meeting of OWA shall consist of all women by birth and marriage, aged 20 years and above, from the 4 Local Government Areas: ORU East, West, Oguta, and Ohaji/Egbema.
